It is ok for certain things, can good etc. But I wouldn't myself purchase meat I don't eat meat so don't take my word for the meat.
I shopped at your store on Leonard Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan today and I just wanted to say it was a wonderful experience. I was greeted with hellos and smiles from cashier and a wonderful lady stocking for you. These two ladies really brightened my day, I look forward to shopping at your store again.
Fresh fruits and veggie section is small and poorly stocked but all Save-A-Lots are like that. The meat section is ok. Staff is quick to open another check out lane if it gets busy. They are friendly and helpful. I DON'T buy milk here as it's usually bad.
This location lives up to the franchises name, excellent prices on most food items here. It's a great place to stock up on canned food especially. The Frozen options are somewhat more limited, and I wouldn't go here for day-to-day grocery shopping, because I prefer refresher ingredients for that. But if you need to restock your pantry with non-perishable food, this is going to be your best option by far. They're regular prices usually beat coupon prices and other grocery stores.
Nice clean store, could use some updating but not a bad place to stop if you need something quick. Reminder to bring your own bags or you have to pay for bags yourself. Prices are pretty good as well for this being a smaller grocery store and good selection.
