First Hills Foods is great for what I need when I go past. It's a nice balance of a local store with it's past and huge food company with SpartanNash. It's not my primary place to shop, but it could be. We stop in for specials or for Starbucks on the way too the highway. For a grocery store, the prepared food are pretty nice as well.
I go into Forest Hills Foods often but usually not to stop for groceries. I enjoy their salad bar and food part as well as their counter to order sandwiches, Pizza, & Wraps. The Starbucks and extra seating area is very nice when you want to come in somewhere for lunch. They also have pretty good sushi in the deli area.
One of the best delis in west Michigan! Everything is made from scratch and it's always consistent. Highly recommend for lunch or to stock up on deli sides for the week.
Good food and good service. Try the Hot Mess Omelet for breakfast. It will fill you up.
I love this store! Everything you could possibly imagine is available. The staff are very friendly and helpful, as well. I am so glad I moved into this neighborhood!
