Family fare has limited items, for higher prices, since they're closer than a large (Meijer) grocery store. They do have good specials sometimes. Some cashiers are nice, until you answer their question and they inform you they're not talking to you. Other cashiers ask you if you know of any places to live, or have any extra money. It's sad. So we stopped going here about a year ago.
The staff, and the shoppers that are regulars from the community are generally very kind. Most of the prices though, are not. That's Spartan Nash's fault though. I do really love their clearance section.
Told myself I'd never stopped in the Family Fare off Leonard and Fuller ever again. I was in a rush and needed a gallon of milk. I could have drove across town and got that milk quicker and it probably be fresher that store is terrible that was the last straw will never go back
Great prices and employees but doesn't have the selection of a larger store. Very clean location though. Great place to shop just to pick some stuff up when in a rush but you won't be able to do your hole shopping list if you have any dietary restrictions like myself. Considering how much smaller it is than Meijer it still has almost as much selection at better prices so it's still a good store to be your first go.
I just walked in and went to the deli department to get a big gamer sub. And when I got there the lady refused to make a fresh one because there wasn't any of the one I was looking for. 3 days before today I went in and a Asian lady asked me if there was any of that same sub. I told her no and she did not hesitated to make me one. Dam lazy Africa American lady smfh
