My dog broke her foot and I decided to go to this clinic. Three weeks later they told me I had to cut off my dogs foot because it wasnt healing properly. Knowing not to land on one opinion, I went to another professional who said them saying that was negligent act. I wouldnt recommend this clinic to my worst enemy. Also they give you hole punches towards a coupon card for reviews (who would write a bad review). Dont believe everything you read.
We have been taking Lucy to Eastown since we got her as a puppy and are very happy with the care and customer service thus far. We are always greeted with a smile and the staff is very attentive. We also get Lucy groomed at the office and the staff does a great job with her. I really like how they call to check in after she has been seen at their office for an ailment and they even called after we took her to the ER. We will continue to seek care at Eastown because they provide quality care and truly care about all of the animals they care for. I highly recommend their office.
This was absolutely the worst vet visit I have ever had. I brought my 2.5 year old female cat in after she began territorial marking around the house to ask about getting her spayed. The vet refused to address that as the cause of the marking without ruling out other health concerns that could also cause the behavior. I consented to a urinalysis to rule out other causes. The urinalysis came back positive for blood in the urine. In the vets words this was a significant amount of blood. Much more than she had seen in other pets. This completely freaked me out!! I was overwhelmed with concern that something was wrong with my pet. The doctors communication with me was rushed and brief. She wanted me to agree to other tests, pushing a list of charges in my face without much other information. With the feeling that something was very wrong, I consented to blood tests and an X-ray to rule out kidney stones and other issues. The charges for all of this were now in the range of 300-400 dollars, but my pets health is a priority to me. These tests were administered and I was billed. Afterwards, the doctor came in and again in a very rushed, unprofessional manor explained that the tech believes the test came up positive for blood simply because of how the sample was taken, picking up blood from paces that it should be as the needle was pulled out of my cats badder and that there is no way that this amount of blood could be found in the bladder. I asked for my money back for the tests that I agreed to under the impression that my pet had blood in her bladder. They refused to refund me!!! Shocked and completely stressed out by the ordeal of thinking that my pet was unwell, I will never be returning to this vet!!!
Awful experience at this clinic, and boy do they like to up-sell and up-charge you - so be careful. There are plenty of other vet clinics in the area that will care about your pets and family more than this place. Unless they make major changes, I advise you look elsewhere.
Very friendly and dedicated staff. I worked on the construction crew that upgraded the building recently. Being around for a long period of time gave me a glimpse into how things are run. I can't speak for the price but I can say you would be hard pressed to find a better or more caring bunch of Vets and techs.
