Ryan was very helpful, walked me through the steps to get insurance to help cover the roof. The crew were pleasant, efficient and the new roof looks great.
Edward and his crew did an excellent job replacing my 25 year old roof. They did a complete tear off and install with a top of the line product at a very competitive price. I would recommend Edward and his crew for any of your roofing needs.
I am very happy and satisfied with the Walker Roofing. Ryan and his crew did the excellent job in replacing my 20 year old roof. They showed me the materials before installations and did go through in details all the options and warranties.
I read the other reviews for Walker Roofing, and I thought WOW, I would have said the exact same thing 3-4 months ago when they were hired and finally came out to put on our roof. Great communication. Great product. Great service.Couldn't have asked for anything better...unless, apparently, you have a problem. Then their communication seems like they went out of business. We had our roof put on 6/9/2017-6/10/2017, and when we discovered a problem in July, we called, texted, emailed. We did get ONE response from Edward where he said he would talk with owner, Jeremy, to get us a POA, to get our concerns taken care of. We have shingles not laying down properly and they put roofing nails through our roof. In several places. You can see them from inside our home. I am including a picture of the shingles that do not lay down properly so you know this is not a made up review.Well, it is now September, and after more phone calls, texts and emails - nothing. I did manage to get a hold of Jeremy, the owner, last week, and he said they would be out that week. I work from home. I was home every single day. No one showed up. No email. No phone call. No text. I have once again reached out to them to try and resolve the damage they did. So we shall see...However, as great as they are if all goes right, they are just as horrible on the correcting if something goes wrong. Please weigh that into your decision to hire this company. Roofs are very expensive, and friendliness only gets you so far. This is business. Your WORD is your business. Your honor. You should stand by that.I hope someday I can add on a positive note to this review - that they finally came out and did what they said they would do. Let's see how long that takes to happen - if and when. Today is 9/20/2017.6/28/2018After I posted this review, I finally got a response. We were able to get the Foreman out to do some inside repair work fairly quickly which we appreciated. Everyone at Walker seemed to want to correct the concerns we had - initially. For the outside shingle work and the nails poking through one of our overhangs, that had to be done a different day, apparently when they had a crew that was not too busy. When that day finally came, I was told the crew would show up around 8:30 am. I took the morning off to be there to make sure it was completed to our satisfaction. I wont go into the phone/text conversations I had on where the crew actually was, but they finally showed up at almost 2pm five and a half hours late, at which point, I was leaving my home after having taken the morning off to be there. I was not pleased with the run around, however, the concerns we needed addressed, were mostly addressed. They did fix the shingles that were not laying down flat, and the shingles now look good. The one issue I still have is with the overhang that had the nails sticking through it. They came in and just snipped off the ends. Now, instead of the overhang looking like the guy from Hellraiser, it just looks like a Hellraiser wannabe. I did not contact Walker Roofing after this point I just decided to correct this repair myself.They did offer us gift cards for the trouble, but we turned them down. We did not want "gifts," we wanted things to be what we paid for.I did not respond to my first reviews in a timely manner because I was very upset, and did not want to post an overly negative response in how everything was handled. I pretty much had forgotten about updating it, until recently, when Walker Roofing contacted us, and continues to contact us via phone/text/email, wanting an update that they did correct it.So here you go. My update.
Don't use them, they lie, they don't tear off rotton wood, they lay new wood over it and refuse to do the job correctly. Trim work was not laying evenly, dented metal siding in several areas and said they didn't. Out a microwave on a lawn chair and it ripped, they did not apologize it replace, actually denighed they did it. Went on my porch and spilled red liquid on the porch and carpet, denighed they did that. Fast Eddie set me up on a loan that adds interest daily, and threatened to bring me to court if I didn't pay and he would have my house.....people, they don't replace rotton wood. I have pictures looking up in my attic of the rotton wood...they lay wood over it...they order tons of material and charge you and u never get a credit for what they don't use. I have my conversation recorded with Jeremy. The siding over my porch is still messed up coming apart...horrible horrible dishonest company, Do not use them
