I called Moore & Sons to have a quote done on a complete roof replacement on our house including a new skylight replacement. We had 3 different contractors come to do quotes and Moore & Sons were the best. Tony was our Sales Representative and he was nothing short of informative, professional and his communication was so very appreciated. I knew nothing about roofing as this is our first house and after our first consultation, I felt that we were in good hands and I knew more about what we were going to need to do. They just finished the roof yesterday and already the house looks a lot better. The crew and foreman who were onsite were very nice and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves every day. Thank you Tony for your help in getting this project done - I will highly recommend you!
Their company truck, while pulling a trailer, was in the passing lane, going about 5 mph under the limit. They wouldn't get over to let other vehicles pass. When someone would try to pass on the right, they would speed up and block them in. It seemed pretty unsafe. Their driving behaviors caused me to remember the name of their company. So, when I was at Silver Lake later in the week, I happened to notice the same white Moore and Sons Roofing truck driving fairly fast in a 25 mph speed zone. There are a lot of people around and that speed limit is low for a reason. Their lack of empathy to other motorists and pedestrians has ensured to me to never use their services. If they're this careless while driving, I'd be nervous to see how careless they'd be working on my home.
Hired them to replace our roof. They removed a section of my fence to access the back yard and never put it back. That night my wife let our dogs out and they took off. Luckily I was able to get our dogs back. While cutting materials on the roof they cut into shingles and left it. They took their time fixing this issue. Now 8 months later and I'm still waiting to hear back from their on call person because my roof is leaking. I highly do not recommend using them. There are many other roofing companies in the area that could do a lot better I'm sure. April, 10, 2018 All issues were addressed and the roof is fine now. Due to the amount of time and how things were handled I still would not recommend. I should also add I received a phone call today from Ed Moore trying to tough talk me into removing my review as he went on to threaten legal action for leaving a bad review. My review is based on the experience as a whole. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. Though the work his company has done on my home has been corrected and is satisfactory my experience dealing with his company on the issues listed has been less than satisfactory by far.
I am completely clueless when it comes to roofing. So in the beginning it was hard to find someone I felt was being straightforward with me. Thankfully we found Moore and Sons. They even showed up on time to give us a quote, the other guys did not.We had a new roof put on by Ed and his amazing crew and couldn't have been more happy. They are quick to respond to any of our questions, very nice, honest, have competitive prices, and do wonderful quality work in what seems like a short amount of time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Don't waste time with the other guys and just give Ed a call!! Two thumbs up!!
