Great atmosphere. Got there when the doWors opened and got a booth near the stage. Caroline was our wait staff and she was perfect--checking in just frequently enough to get something when you needed it. The band tonight was excellent--Hip Pocket. Great set list of Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Chicago, and more. This was my first time here and I will be back.
I always like this spot but they need to do some better cleaning and get a little revamp in their atmosphere. Feels a little grungy lately and the floors are always sticky. Other than that we always have great service and the drinks are affordable. Cover charge is affordable for the music they put on and the extra security. Better lighting would go a long way in this place. I'll always go here of course, its a staple of Grand Rapids!
Love Monday nights there! Wait staff is super friendly. Bar staff was fast and efficient. Good music. Only thing that would make or better would be fried foods on the menu. Other than that very clean and great place to get out and live a little at.
This is the best local bar, great bartenders with a great atmosphere. Their happy hour is fun. They also have bands ever weekend, I have enjoyed the bands that I have seen.
It wasn't a bad place I went very late at night because a friend of my mother's is in a band. So we went there listen to them play (blues). They did an awesome job. I do not remember the name of the band but they had the bar crowed and people dancing. I enjoyed being there for the live entertainment.
