I had the most wonderful experience at Gormans. I drove up from Kalamazoo to shop around Grand Rapids for my first brand-new sofa. Gormans happened to be the first stop on my list, and I only planned on being there for a short while to browse, and then moving on to the other stores on my list. I was so enamored with the product selection and service that I ended up spending a few hours in the store, falling in love with several items, and under the guidance of amazing Mary K., I selected a few top choices. Marys attention to detail, eye for design, and genuinely personable nature made the entire experience an absolute joy. I never felt rushed or pressured, and before long I felt like I was shopping with an old friend. I ended up checking out a couple more stores in Grand Rapids, but never felt the same comfort as I felt in Gormans (no other store could match the service level or product quality/selection that Gormans provided). While I didnt end up purchasing anything that day, I went home to mull over my options and came back to Gormans about a month later to re-visit the sofas Id had my eye on. I met with Mary K. again, and she remembered me, my style, and my top 3 sodas immediately (even without consulting her notes!). She took the time to help me weigh my options, select the best fabric option for my lifestyle and budget, and made the process simple and enjoyable. I walked out of the store feeling confident that I had made the best decision, and I owe that all to Mary K. Thank you for all your help! I will definitely be back!!!
Its been a really great experience working with Michelle at Gormans. Weve appreciate both her subtle yet extremely helpful design influence and patience as weve changed direction a bit....all WITHOUT the pressure weve found with nearly every other furniture salesperson. Shes helped us feel right about our decision. We looked around at many furniture stores and found it difficult spend the money on such low quality products. Gormans selection of products are very good and at prices that seem appropriate for the level of quality.
My husband and I were shopping for a dining room table and found an AMAZING table in the clearance room at Gorman's. Yvonne greeted us when we arrived and went out of her way to help us with our questions about the table. She treated us as if we were 5 star customers even though we had a budget for the clearance room! The only glitch was that the table had no matching chairs and in the long run, we had to go with a table that included chairs. Yvonne sure made an impression on us and in the future we will be back for sure! Thanks Yvonne!
We loved shopping at Gorman's. Mary was our designer and she helped us find the perfect couches and chairs with the right fabric. She came to our home to see the layout of our living room and was very patient as I decided which fabric I wanted on the throw pillows. Working with Mary at Gorman's made our experience very positive. High quality well-built furniture for an affordable price. Low pressure selling. We highly recommend them.
