Great venue for concerts. The backstage crew and security staff were top notch & super awesome. I had questions before going and the customer service from the website was pretty quick in responding.
I love Van Andel Arena. It is a great place to see concerts. The seats can get a little uncomfortable during a performance but otherwise the arena is good. I have seen many different performances here in different areas of the arena (including the side of the stage and the furthest back, highest seating areas). The furthest back, highest seating areas were not my favorite but the ticket prices were reasonable (better when I found a Groupon) but still enjoyable. I loved the closer seats. It is worth paying a little more for closer seats.
I really love that even if u get the worst possible seat at this place, u can still see/enjoy whatever event you are going to. The staff were in full force for Kevin Hart and it was nice. I felt pretty safe in a huge place which was interesting. I've been to this arena for many events. I always get in and out quickly, seats are easy to find and food/drink is everywhere if u want to pay arena prices. I love that the events I go to are never killing my pockets and I've always really enjoyed myself.
First time at Van Andel and it was for the Thomas Rhett & Brett Young concert. No complaints. Seats were similar to any other arena I have visited, I liked that they had cup holders in each arm rest. Staff were friendly and helpful in finding our seats. Plenty of food/drink vendors to keep me happy. Bathrooms stayed clean. Concert was amazing! Hoping to get back up there at some point to watch hockey.
We were here for a week event. The upper level seats are way too small for grown men and very steep. It wasn't that bad but it got very hot very fast. For the price you pay for any tickets these days they should invest in better circulation for those at the top.
