We went to the giant kids sale, called benefits of friends I believe. It was very nicely organized and was so great to look through things at a nice pace. It was such a big arena that it didn't feel like a it was overcrowded.
Great venue to see band up close and personal, like they use to have back in the hay day of rock shows. The price is very reasonable which today is hard to come by. The only negative thing about the place is the smoke the usually fills up the place from people. Wish they had better ventilation.
My Daughter has been competing her for competitive cheerleading for the past 10 years. Were here usually 4 times a year, and it NEVER fails that the bathrooms have NO supplies. (At least for the womens). From no toilet paper and no paper towels, Ive been trained to bring my own for my family. The old stadium seats that are broken, could easily be fixed with just a few screws. The DeltaPlex Arena could DEFINITELY use a bit of TLC.
Awesome place to see a concert. Great sound. In a nice area too. I remember when it was Stadium Arena. Watched the Grand Rapids Owls play hockey in the old IHL. It was getting rundown then. Now it is top notch. Lots of events from concerts to the circus to beer festivals. Holds just enough people to have a concert experience, but small enough that there is no "bad seats"
Smaller arena. Difficult to get to handicap seating on upper level. Only 1 exit out at the end? Can you say fire hazard? Food was average stadium food. Sound quality was goodLighting was goodTemperature was good.
