Pretty little park I visited when I came to Grand Rapids with friends. It seemed small, but was full of culture, from a ice skating rink in the winter to a place for concerts and relaxing in the park during the summer.
Great to have a picnic with the family and enjoy the dinner things that Grand Rapids has to offer. A mist is the river walk.
This place is basically the heart of downtown. The events here are amazing but even just a regular day it still is an awesome place to hang out. There's tables to use for eating or sitting at, you can sit on the stage, or even at the little water fountains. Kids even wade through the small fountains sometimes in the summer. Plus, there's public restrooms if you need them and the new art museum is right nextdoor if you want to have even more fun.
Nice open area. Lots of popular events are hosted here. Plenty of nearby shops to peruse.
