Amazing zoo. Definitely our favorite in Michigan! Unlike a lot of flat zoos this one has all kinds of tree cover and elevation that make for very unique exhibits. Very fun to walk and see everything but if you have children it might be a workout pushing them around. That said they do have a wide variety of things for the kids scattered throughout the zoo. From play zones to activities like testing your jumping skills against an animal. There's plenty of food and drink stands nearby most exhibits. They've got a great variety of animals including the new red panda, who's awesome, bears, lions, tigers, and many more. They also have nice and cool reptile, amphibian, and aquarium houses.

We love visiting the zoo! We are members and walk through the zoo a few times a month. It's a good way to get outside and learn about different animals. It's built on a hill and it is a bit of a walk to get up to the tigers, red panda, and bird show but it's well worth it. There are usually staff and volunteers near different enclosures and they are wonderful at answering questions and helping guests to learn more about the animals and conservation efforts. We love getting to meet animals close up and appreciate learning about unique animals we don't regularly encounter.

Love this Zoe. My family and I come here very often and find something new every time! The animals are clean and the staff is always 100% amazing! This time my youngest noticed the chickens walking around free over by the petting zoo. We also seen the schedule for feedings and were able to watch the penguins be hand fed by staff as another staff member told us facts and fun things about the penguins. Thank you for being here for a funfamily day.

We visited for one of the adult only nights and I just wish there were more of them. Like one every other week while the zoo is open. Even if theyre not Pour and Roar alcohol related events, just having a nice evening where you can visit the zoo, its a little cooler, and youre not having to fight children for a view of the tigers.Anyway, we really enjoyed it, the new habitats are doing well for the animals, it seems like they all have the ability to actually roam and play and seem to be enjoying it.

Extremely beautiful zoo! The animals and exhibits are well maintained, the scenery is beautiful and there's a lot to see and do. We enjoyed the variety of unique animals. The zoo trails lead you through well shaded, gorgeous established trees which adds to the experience. My boys enjoyed a break from walking by playing in the play area up towards the top of the zoo. There are a handful of cool things you can pay an additional fee for too (funicular, 4 story up ropes course, gem mining, feeding birds, camel rides). A day well spent and we will be going back
