It's a great place. If you are looking for some specialty beer they will probably have it. I have a favorite rum, Plantation. They don't just have Plantation, they have 3 year, 5 year, Original Dark, 12 year, and the Pineapple Rum. And if they don't have it, they will order it for you. Rishi is the best hands-on owner I have ever experienced, he is there to great you almost every time and he'll remember you. This may not mean a lot to some but it does to me. Wow. This is a very impressive liquor store. The selection of hard liquor is quite extensive. I was blown away by the bourbon section. They also have an amazing beer and wine department. Unfortunately my state does not have liquor stores that even come close to this place. The store was clean, well kept and extremely organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also seemed knowledgeable in their products.
Was looking for a very particular whiskey during my trip in the US (I'm European). People told me: "Go to Rishi's, there you can find special whiskies." After visiting 30 liquor stores I found exactly what I was looking for at Rishi's. Had a brief chat with him too, nice guy. The store is beautiful, with loads of options for every kind of drink.
Friendly atmosphere and nice employees who are helpful with any questions. They have a nice selection of a lot of things, i found a popular Japanese beer that I couldn't find anywhere else, among other beers I have never heard of.Their pricing though, seemed a bit high. Like other reviews stated, and I was prepared for, paying a little extra than I could elsewhere if I could find some of the same things.But overall, because of their large selection, and friendly and seemingly knowledgeable staff. This place is nice. Just be prepared to spend a little or a bit more than elsewhere.
My opinion might be biased by the fact I've developed a friendship with the owner over many years of patronage, but Rishi's is fantastic. The store itself is nice and the selection is fantastic, from craft beers to high end whiskeys. What really puts it over the top, though, is the staff who are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Between them, I'm pretty sure they've at least tried and have an opinion on just about everything on the store. Finally, it's the place to go if you're looking for very expensive, extra aged Armenian brandy.
