Divorce is such an incredibly unfortunate situation. Then, you have to find an attorney, and learn legal verbiage to understand the situation. During this time you're not thinking clearly as many dollar signs and Family matters start jumping around in your head. During my process I had an attorney recommend an attorney, so I went with it. After a couple months I changed attorney's as value became questionable. When I made the change I interviewed several attorneys and this time had a little hind sight. What tipped the scales for me was even though she was energetic, professional, task oriented, assertive, I believed her personality would still allow me to ask questions as she truly wanted to help ME, not her personal goals and calendar. She has sound reasoning and negotiation skills, knows the process and the many fine points along the way, and she works efficiently, your billings will be fair - unfortunately I know the difference. Divorce should not be an option but surprises happen - working with Jennifer will help you get through this mess. I know Jennifer was extremely busy but she always represented me like I was her only case, unlike my initial attorney who billed me like I was his only case - there's a difference.
