I LOVE this salon! Everyone is super friendly and they do a great job. I've never had a bad hair color/cut here. I had my wedding party get all dolled up here on my special day and everyone looked like models. Super impressed with them and I don't mind paying extra as they are pricier than some.
Taylor is who I see and shes wonderful! Shes truly a color expert. I was so impressed with the salon owner; she took the time to meet me because I was new and she was so sweet. I really love the atmosphere there. Im sure all of the stylists are fantastic but I have never had color as beautiful as Taylors.
I have been getting my hair done by Lani for several years now, and I can't say enough about how wonderful she is! I don't trust many people with my hair, and I spent years trying to find a good fit for me and I finally found Lani! She always listens to my wants/needs and gives great feedback. She provides great hair services and I highly recommend her! Also, Abby is a wonderful manager! She is so patient and kind. It's great seeing a consistent friendly face when I walk in.
While the actual hair service I received was good, I highly recommend getting a written estimate of the price in advance. I drove two hours for a consultation, received a quote, and booked an appointment for the following week. At the end of my appointment, I was charged an additional $90-120 over the price range I was quoted. I was told that it took longer than my stylist expected, which was accurate, but at no time during the appointment was I told we were going over time and I wasn't wearing my watch and couldn't check my phone because the stylist was working on my hair. I brought cash to my appointment because my husband and I don't use credit cards and was left scrambling to find a payment method. After, I felt that I was partially to blame since I wasn't wearing a watch and didn't realize we were that much over time so I booked another appointment for the following month. At the start of my second appointment, I politely mentioned that I couldn't go over my allotted time again and we were able to get everything finished exactly on time. At the end of my appointment, the price was an additional $80 over what I was quoted. When I asked for clarification, I was told that this would be my price from now on and then the stylist said "I guess I should have told you before.". No other explanation was given and no advanced notification that my price had changed was ever provided. I've now paid an additional $170-200 in 5 weeks. I was really excited to find someone who was able to do my hair, but it's incredibly disappointing to be treated this way. Please consider getting a quote in writing when you have your consultation and verify the amount before your appointment if possible so that you can avoid something like this happening to you. I have no problem with people charging whatever the market will allow and would not have balked at a higher rate from the beginning, but being quoted $60/hour then being charged $100/hour just isnt right. I've never left a negative review for any business and feel bad doing so, but I would hate for anyone else to end up unprepared.
